Classic Pose

The Classic pose captures the timeless beauty of a couple embracing while maintaining eye contact. It showcases the groom and bride together, both facing the camera and each other, creating a connection that radiates love and intimacy. I highly recommend starting photo sessions with these poses as they instantly put couples at ease, creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere that allows their true emotions to shine through.

Admiration Unveiled

In this post, our goal is to capture the deep connection and genuine admiration shared between the couple. To create this pose, we will gently direct the bride to slightly turn her back and close her eyes, allowing her to fully embrace the moment. Then the groom will hold the bride's waist and tenderly kiss her on the forehead. Finally, we will guide the bride to turn her head and gracefully gaze down at her shoulder, adding an element of elegance and allure to the shot.

Holding Hands Harmony

In this pose, we aim to capture the intimate connection and closeness between the couple. To achieve this pose, we guide the couple through a series of steps. First, they stand facing each other, allowing for a comfortable distance between them. With gentle grace, they clasp their hands together, interlacing their fingers or intertwining them naturally. The emphasis is on creating a relaxed and natural grip, allowing their fingers to curve around each other effortlessly. As they hold hands, they maintain eye contact, exchanging glances and sharing genuine smiles. The couple can lean in slightly towards each other, enhancing the connection showcased by their entwined hands. We encourage them to experiment with different angles and variations, exploring the heights and positions at which they hold hands to add variety and creativity to the shots.

Candid Charm

Capturing genuine and lighthearted moments is a highlight of every engagement and wedding shoot. To achieve those fun and silly candid shots, we encourage couples to embrace their playful side and let their personalities shine. We suggest engaging in spontaneous activities, sharing laughter and inside jokes, or even whispering funny secrets to one another. By immersing themselves in the moment and forgetting about the camera, the couple can create authentic shots.

Lifts of Love

For that breathtaking lift shot, I guide the groom on the proper technique to lift the bride gracefully. I demonstrate how to position his hands securely under her buttocks and suggest he interlocks his opposing wrists after wrapping his arm around her. Equally important is instructing the bride on how to pose flawlessly. To prevent any double chin effect, I advise her to elongate her neck by gently pushing her forehead forward and slightly downward. Then, I suggest she bends the leg closest to the camera and points both toes for added elegance.

Dipping into Romance

To achieve this captivating dips shot, we begin with the standard pose. Next, I guide the bride to lift her front leg and point her toe for an added touch of grace. The groom's role is to hold her leg and gently dip her back, creating a beautiful arc. At this point, they can either share an intimate gaze or capture a tender moment as he kisses her cheek while she turns her face towards the light source. It's important to note that while this pose is relatively easy to execute, it looks particularly stunning when the bride's leg is visible, such as when she's wearing a dress or a gown with a stylish slit.

Twirls of Joy

The twirls shot is a delightful pose that adds movement and joy to the photoshoot. It works exceptionally well when the bride is wearing a gown, although it can be achieved with any attire. To capture this pose, I instruct the couple to walk towards the camera while holding hands, without revealing my plan beforehand. Then, I ask the groom to surprise the bride by twirling her around as if they were dancing. It's common for them to struggle with the motion initially, but the genuine laughter and lightheartedness that follow create wonderful moments to capture. I encourage them to try again until they achieve the desired twirl, resulting in a series of playful and dynamic shots.

Piggybacking in Love

To create this shot, I instruct the groom to stand behind the bride and have her wrap her arms around his neck while he securely holds her legs. It's important to ensure a strong and stable grip to ensure the safety of both the groom and the bride. Once the couple is in position, I encourage them to interact naturally, whether it's exchanging smiles, sharing a whispered conversation, or even stealing a gentle kiss. The piggyback pose allows for a variety of expressions and emotions, capturing the couple's bond and the carefree spirit of their relationship.

Romantic Lift

To achieve this pose, the groom gently lifts the bride in front of him, creating a captivating moment of grace and romance. It's important to capture this pose swiftly to preserve the weightlessness and elegance of the lift. The bride should wrap her arms around the groom's neck, providing support and maintaining a graceful posture. Attention to detail is crucial, so I guide the couple to elongate their jawlines and point their toes, ensuring a polished and captivating look. While this pose can be captured in various orientations, we find that the tighter, horizontal compositions tend to resonate best with our clients. These compositions fill the frame with the couple, creating a visually stunning and easily balanced image.

Reflection on Love

The reflection shots are truly magical and create a captivating visual effect. To achieve this ethereal look, I position the couple with the light source behind them, creating a beautiful backlight. This backlighting illuminates their background, adding a dreamy and glowing effect to the scene. I guide the couple to stand or pose near the reflective surface, ensuring that their silhouettes are clear and distinct. This technique creates a mesmerizing and enchanting atmosphere, enhancing the romance and beauty of the moment.

Elegance Unveiled

The elegant shots are all about channeling your inner model and exuding a vogue-like sophistication. To achieve this high-fashion look, I encourage the couple to embrace their inner confidence and poise. I guide them to strike dynamic and graceful poses, emphasizing elongated lines and fluid movements. It's important to pay attention to body language, with the couple showcasing elegance through their posture, gestures, and facial expressions. To enhance the vogue vibes, I often incorporate dramatic lighting, utilizing soft and directional light to sculpt their features and create a sense of depth. With a focus on clean and polished compositions, these shots capture the couple's elegance and grace, transforming them into the stars of their own fashion-inspired story.
